The Energy Efficiency Plan, announced by the Government, aims to sustainably transform our habits and behaviors in terms of consumption.
The French public lighting parc includes nearly 11 million lighting points representing 41% of municipal electricity consumption(annual consumption of 56 kilowatt hours / inhabitant, or nearly 3.7 terawatt-hours on the national territory).
This high energy consumption is explained as nearly 40% of the lighting points are more than 25 years old, resulting in the emission of about 670,000 tons of CO2 per year. The public lighting management is, therefore, an important source of energy reduction.
EECI offers adapted and innovative solutions by renovating the high energy intensive public lighting points:
Dynamic diagnosis (production of a day and night film on the entire public lighting base)
Technical and financial feasibility study: :
> Lighting points’ management (definition of dimming scenarios, remote computer management of lighting, presence detection)
> Valuation of energy economy
> Preparation of regional, national, and European grant file

As part of the Energy Efficiency plan, EECI and its team of experts support cities and businesses in their projects:
- Photovoltaic shades houses in relation to the obligation to equip outdoor parking lots (Law N°. 2023-175 of March 10, 2023 – article 40)
